Taipei GTA guides

Six guides cover the game from the first key press to the moment you decide where to ride next. Each one owns a single question, so nothing is repeated and nothing is buried, and each can be read in the order a session actually happens.

Start where you actually are. If you have not launched the game yet, the beginner guide is the shortest path from a blank screen to a finished trip. If you have played for an hour and keep spinning out, go straight to the scooter guide. If a key is not doing what you expect, the controls reference answers it in a line.

The order that works for most people

Read the controls page once, badly. You will not remember a table, and you do not need to — you need to know that F enters a vehicle and that M opens the map. Then play for ten minutes and come back to whichever key surprised you.

The beginner guide is the next read, because it turns those keys into a session: walk, then drive, then choose a nearby destination, then take one mission from the phone. After that the split is a matter of taste. People who enjoyed the handling go to the scooter guide; people who enjoyed the streets go to the city guide; people whose game ran badly go to the devices page.

There is no correct path and no progress to protect. The game has no account, no save file to lose on this site and no penalty for going somewhere pointless. If a guide does not match what you see on screen, believe the screen: the game's own menus are authoritative, and this site is a companion to them rather than a replacement. Nothing here expires, so there is no cost to wandering off and reading a different page first.

What these guides deliberately do not do
