Site
About this site
This is an independent guide to a browser game, written and maintained by people who play it. It is not the game's official home, it is not run by Rockstar Games, and it does not claim to own anything the game's creators made. What it does claim is simple: every page answers one question clearly, from the game's published behaviour rather than from guesswork.
You are on taipei-gta.com, a small portal for the Taipei-themed open-world game. The playable build is embedded on the home page and served from its own origin; the rest of the site exists to explain that build — its controls, its city, its devices and the questions people ask before they start.
Who runs this site
A small, independent group of players maintains this site. There is no newsroom, no parent company and no advertising department deciding what gets written; the same people who test a control write the sentence that describes it. That is why the pages are short on marketing and long on specifics: there is nobody asking for a paragraph about how exciting things are.
Because it is independent, it also has no privileged access. Everything documented here comes from opening the game, pressing the keys, watching what happens and writing it down in the same language a new player would use.
Why the site exists
Most game pages try to cover everything at once and end up useful for nothing. This site takes the opposite approach: one page per question, each written so that a reader who has never opened the game can act on it immediately. If you want to start, one page handles your first session. If you want to know what a single key does, another page answers only that. The result is a site you can enter from a search result, read for two minutes, and leave with the thing you came for.
- Explain, do not sell. No page asks you to sign up, subscribe or install anything.
- One question per page. A guide that answers three unrelated questions answers none of them well.
- Describe the current build. When the game changes, the sentence describing it changes too.
- Admit what is not known. Where the game's own menu is authoritative, the page says so instead of inventing a rule.
What this site is not
- It is not the game's owner. The game belongs to its creators and is hosted on its own origin; this site only embeds and documents it.
- It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Nothing here is official, licensed or endorsed.
- It is not a support desk for the game itself. If the game has a bug, only its creators can fix it — we can only describe what it does.
- It is not a news site. There is no release calendar, no rumour section and no comment feed to keep alive.
Where to find what you want
The table below is the fastest route from a task to the page that handles it. Every link opens the same site, in the same language you are reading now.
| What you want | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Play the game | The home page — the playable build is embedded there. |
| Start from zero | The beginner guide, which orders a first session step by step. |
| Look up a key | The controls reference, with keyboard, touch and camera in one table. |
| Ride better | The scooter guide, devoted to handling rather than keys. |
| Know the city | The city guide, which groups the map by districts and moods. |
| Try it on another device | The devices page, covering phones, tablets, laptops and controllers. |
| Test yourself | The controls explorer, a filterable tool built from the same tables. |
| Get a quick answer | The FAQ, where the shortest answers live. |
How it is maintained and corrected
Each page carries the date it was last reviewed. When the game's behaviour changes, the relevant pages are reopened and rewritten rather than patched with a note at the bottom, because a guide is only useful while its first paragraph is still true. If you find a sentence that no longer matches what you see on screen, that is a correction worth sending.
How to reach it
There is one address and no contact form: contact@taipei-gta.com, reachable through the contact page. It is a forwarding address, read by a person, and it is the right place for corrections, unclear guides and questions this site has not answered yet.
Frequently asked questions
Who writes this site?
A small, independent group of people who play the game and document what it actually does. There is no company behind it and no marketing department.
Is this site official?
No. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the game's creators or to Rockstar Games, and it does not host the game itself.
How often are the pages updated?
Each page shows the date it was last reviewed, and pages are rewritten when the game's behaviour changes so the text still matches what you see on screen.
How do I report a mistake?
Send the page address, what you saw and what you expected to contact@taipei-gta.com. Corrections from readers are the most useful messages this site gets.
